camera/printer problem
Hi there, I just got some new toys. My first one is a Fuji S-5100 digital camera. (4MP, 10x optical). The next one is an Epson Stylus Photo R200. Now, I have been playing around with these lately.
The problem that I have is that the pictures I take on the camera come out good. They look great on the computer. Then I print them out on the printer, and they come out dark. Now, this is alot darker than how they look on the computer. Any suggestions for this newbie?? THANKS! |

What resolutions are you shooting pictures at? 1 megapixel (~1150X850) gives you a pretty picture at 4"x6". If you want to print larger pictures then you will need to increase the settings on you camera. Another thing, clean your print heads on the printer, a little rubbing alcohol will do just fine.
Also, when you print, use the best setting available. Don't go cheap and use the fast output. I have only printed a few pics on photo papers. I now take them to Costco or Walmart, if they don't look right, have them reprocessed. I think it's cheaper with Costco actually. |
