AquaSphere Custom PC Case - bit-tech.net AMAZING!
I'm sure all you hardcore computer nerds still remember the Orac³ by G-gnome at Bit-Tech.net. One of the finest computer cases every built. I think this new one by a fellow that calls himself Chewy is arguably as good if not BETTER than the Orac³. It takes a radically different design schematic and incorporates ideas not seen in computer cases today.
http://www.bit-tech.net/article/153 From Day 1 onward! If you want the pictures of the project finalized: http://www.bit-tech.net/article/153/8 Unbelievable. Reminds me of some sort of nuclear reactor or something.......complete with Uranium 245 fuel rods. Anyone think this is awesome besides me?

It'd be hard to get as much recognition and fame as the Orac3 did but this case definitely comes close. I love the UV look (my computer is decked out in UV), especially on the hoses. It makes me want to build my own extravagant case but then I remembered how much time and money it takes.

Yeah, that's pretty intense. I am much impressed.
I have four or five cases stored up in my mind for when I find I have a free month or two in which to build one... but nothing like that monster. |
