friend's custom build problem
my friend is buildin himself a new comp and we are both stumped on what's goin on with it...here is his description of the problem

check the bios revision, make sure it's current.
i'd try the most all unplugged bit again, a few times, see if that's consistent. add hardware 1 at a time. and, check bios settings. don't have enough info to be more specific .

Maybe a bad drive...double check jumper settings...maybe doesn't like a drive.

This is easily and usually overlooked, reseat the RAM in the banks. Clean the contacts with some rubbing alcohol. RAM can be the culprits of many weird things. If this doesn't work, check the MB website to see if it's compatible with the AMD 64. Good luck.
