How can I burn Fdisk on a CD-R?
My laptop doesn't have a floppy drive so I could really use a copy of fdisk on a CD preferably.
I heard that it is possible to do this, so I attempted to copy a win98 bootdisk from my floppy to my CD-R, however, when I tried to test it out, it doesn't detect it as something that is bootable. In the bios it is set to boot from CD also. Has anyone tried this with success. |

We could get into making a bootable cd but the stock fdisk has lots of shortcomings. Try Ultimatebootcd. It's free and ready to burn.
http://ultimatebootcd.com/ Loads of utilities including "better" fdisks, backup, hardware tests, antivirus, etc. No user should be without. There are others but this is a great starting point. |
