DVD Trouble
I am having trouble with my DVD player.
Recently, the sound has been skipping and sounds jittery. I know it is not the video card or media player because WMP HighDef videos paly wonderfully on my computer. It just started out of nowhere too. Anybody know what could be wrong here? Windows XP Pro Pentium 4 3.2GHz 1 GB DDR RAM Nvidia 128MB Geforce 6800 ARTEC DHM-G48R DVD

I just ran Nero CD/DVD Speed test and I was playnig music at the time. The CD test was fine but once I started the DVD test, my music just turned into garbled garbage but once I stopped the test it went right back to fine.

Borrow a friends DVD drive and put it in place of the one you have now. Try that same DVD test and see if the music turns too garbage again. If it isn't your DVD drive try that same test but swap out the sound card. Maybe you can isolate where the problem is

Tested out another DVD drive and figured out it is infact the drive, not the software.
