is there an easy way to convert bmp files to jpg?
Cos I have a mad lot of bmp files, but the same pic looks the same but takes up 10 times as muich space as bmp... and at the moment I have worked out ytou can open it and save as jpg, then delete the old one... but I have like 10,000 so I cant do them all like that. Is it possible to somehow convert them in batch?

Try this one, I use it to convert game screenshots targa to Jpeg http://www.batchconverter.com/
they have a free trial but im sure you can find it through bit torrent |

cool, thanks man. The free version only does 6 at a time, but its much much quicker than what I was doing, it works well.

I also support Irfanview. When I reformatted my computer a month or two back I realized I had lost the utility I had been using for years to view odd image file types and picked Irfanview at random from a list. I've been extremely pleased.
