Car Speakers: Camaro
 

Hey I hope this is the right place for this question.

I have a '96 Camaro Z28 and when I got the car the speakers were not factory and I'm curious if 6 1/2's will fit all the way around? Doors and side Pillars (not a monsoon system(no speakers in the back)) Thanks guys.. looking at 4 infinity kappa 63.5i's (225w 3 way speakers) 6 1/2's if anyone was wondering what I was looking to put into the car.

i did a quick search on crutchfield.com to see if anything listed as you can search by year, make...etc, no go. you might find some car audio forums that may no if nobody here comes up with the info.

look at www.cardomain.com to see what others have crammed in the factory spaces.

after searching google:

yes, a 6 1/2 will fit. many people who replace their speakers use a 6 1/2.
you may or may not need a speaker spacer though, i've never taken apart a camaro door before.

i have 63.5i's in the rear and i like them alot... but in my opionion, you should get components for the front.
