Must have one of these - PalmOne Treo 650

I want one of these...I'm not sure why but I do! Can someone who has this please comment on it's value?

This update to the popular Treo 600 adds Bluetooth and a higher-resolution display. Other improvements include a removable battery, support for MS Exchange email, and a revamped keyboard. Like its predecessor, the 650 boasts full Palm OS PDA functionality, a QWERTY mini-keyboard, and an SDIO card slot.

I'm looking into getting one of those myself. I'm surprised to see it coming from Verizon; up until now only sprint had announced support for the 650 model. I get my service from Verizon so this is what I've been waiting for.

I don't think anyone actually has the 650 yet. It's been announced and is expected to ship shortly. Maybe someone can tell us how they like their treo 600.

Pre-orders shipped last week. I've seen "unpacking" pictures on Engadget.

I love my T600.

If you are a Palm person, it is the bomb.

I bought mine because it is 1.) an excellent phone, 2.) a Palm organizer that syncs w/my laptop, 3.) internet access device (e-mail, stocks, weather, maps, TFP, etc.)

The camera is cool too. The resolution is not the greatest but I have posted several pictures here that I took with it.

I have no issues with the current display and really can't see the big deal with higher rez. Bluetooth? If you had a direct need for it it would be cool. Otherwise NBD.

The battery life is fine. (Without the screen on, it lasts for days), talk time - I'd guess 5-7 hours at least. I just plug mine into the charger at night and have never had an issue. A removable battery would be OK when the time comes to change but until then ???

There are several e-mail clients it supports. To be honest if you need a power e-mail machine you probably should have a BlackBerry. It is an e-mail machine first and a phone second (maybe third).

All in all I love mine. My service is thru T-Mobile and they have good coverage in my area. I have the $19.99/mo. umlimited internet access but I'm going to change that to 'pay by the K' cause I don't use it enough.
