Disabling Keyboard Shortcuts in XP?

I've got Windows XP Pro and I am having a helluva time figuring this out. I have tried googling and searching MSKB, but still no luck..

All I want to do is disable the damn keyboard shortcuts. I have games and other applications where I must hold the windows key and push letters to activate certain things, and the freaking applications keep opening up in the background.

I tried looking through the Services in Admin Tools, tried turning it off through Accessibility... no fricken luck.

Does anybody know how to completely disable this in Windows XP?

this MIGHT help some

install tweakui powertoy(search MS site) (make sure to get the XP one, the older one is a bitch to get off your computer if you install it in XP)

in the options tree, it's on 'explorer'

uncheck "enable windows+X hotkeys"

unfortunately the tooltip for this check box says it won't disable all the hotkeys.
