Enabling Standby
I recently reformatted my HD, and it seems that standby is now disabled. I searched Google, but it was telling me to look under power options in the "hibernate" tab. I don't have one of those. When I go to the shut-down dialog, the three buttons come up, but standby is grayed out. I'm running XP Home on an ASUSTek motherboard which definitely supports standby.
Thanks. |

The standby settings have to do with the Power Schemes you are running. In XP, go to the power options properties --> power schemes tab.
