System restore?
Gah, over this weekend somehow- Someone completely deleted a folder I had containing a lot of things I kinda need. The biggest of which, was some art I did in photoshop that was going into my art portfolio for college. Now, I know I have done it before- its system restore that will revert everything back to an earlier date right? Could someone tell me how to work it, because I just cant seem to find it anymore. I just want my folder back!! thanks guys.

This is how i do it-go to start, go to all programs, go to accessories, go to system tools, then you will find system restore. It's pretty easy from there. Just choose restore to an earlier date, and you will be able to choose a bold date from the calendar. I would pick the most recent. Hope that helps, and hope you have XP.

I wouldn't think system restore would bring back a random folder that was deleted...really only for system files. Did it restore that folder for you??
