my new toy ;)
Well I've had one of these pretty little ipods (apple.com/ipod) for about a week or so now, and it has to be one of the coolest things I've ever bought.
It's one of the newer touch screen ones. the 10gb model. The firmware is still a bit buggy, but it really is a great little machine. and quite sexy for a portable music playing device. anyone else picked one of these up yet? I highly recommend it. My only major problem with it is that I couldn't afford the 30gb model |

I fondle my coworkers ipod every chance I get, muttering "precious, my precious."
Now HR is calling me for a meeting. Could these things be related?

yep I just bought my third one actually, I ghad the original 5gig great but too small I then bought the 10 Gig windows one and I just broke down and bought the thirty gig model Its the best one yet, I loaded 27 Gig worth of MP3 in about 20 minutes and its awsome. The music store on the new version is also totally cool but its costing me some serious $$$ . You can't go wrong with a IPOD and the new ones are the best model yet. To bad on the 10 you didn't get the docking station and remote they add to ease of use, but im sure aftermarket will be there soon, If you really want to blow everything away save up some change and get the Bang and Olufsen in ear headphones amazing little bastards sound better than my stereo and have a hook that keeps them in your ear.
Congrats your gonna love being a pod person |

woolley bear, i'm a pc user, so the itunes store is still a few months away for me.
but yeah, this is my first ipod, and it really is a great little machine my biggest worry at the moment is the external condition. i've already got numerous little scratches on it, and am just paranoid to take it anywhere until some new 3rd party cases are on the market. and i'm not too crushed about the dock and remote. i plan on building a stand out of plexy glass (i know a few guys who work in the industry), so that wont be a problem. and the remote i dont think i'd ever use. hopefully they get the bugs hammered out soon enough, but even with the slight problems, i'm a big fan. now its just a matter of making it a bit easier for me on my PC to use ACC encoding. but yeah, that can wait i suppose. |
