Dos mode in win98
I have this major problem with dos mode when running win98. First, the sound never works. I'm using a Monster sound card; does anyone know how to attach it to the motherboard? Also my monitor is very dim. I fixed this up in windows by changing the brightness, coontrast and gamma in the the settings box, but in dos mode apps it doesn't reigister the changes. Anyone who can help, please leave a post.

What apps are you using in DOS mode? I always select "Soundblaster compatible" when setting up any audio card in DOS. Also, check their website for an updated driver. http://www.sonicblue.com/support/dia...u=Legacy_Audio

Kheldar:
How do you run in 'dos mode' - Do you run it in a window or do you restart your computer? What are you running that in Dos and does it have internal brightness settings? And do you know anything more about your sound card? A model number or something similar
