I'd personally wait, there are rumors from ipodlounge.com that Apple is going to release the iPod 5G over the summer and some people are spectating that they will completely phase out the black and white version. To me these rumors seem credible but again they are rumors so take it for what its worth.

Cool, thanks. I think I'll eliminate all existing album art, then; I'd rather see more text, and that will also save me a few MB while I'm at it.

There's certainly some interesting stuff in the works; iTunes 4.8 was released this week, and it has video support. There are also some songs on the iTunes Music Store that include a downloadable video of the song. Apple barely mentioned the iTunes 4.8 release, so it is clear that another shoe has to drop first. Is it the iPod 5G?

Personally, I'm probably a couple months away from making a change, but I wanted to know if I should start adding or subtracting art, so that I'm ready for the color iPod when I get it.
