Linux Newbie Install Help (not able to boot from cd)
I have a computer that is working but has nothing on it, no os or anything. All i can seem to do is boot from the floppy. I want to install Fedora, and i have downloaded the iso images and burned them to cd's. But when i turn on my computer with them or any other cd in there it doesn't boot from it. the only thing that works is the floppy drive. can anyone please help me install linux?

You have to set your bios to boot from CD first. During the post there should be a message that says press "xxx to enter setup" where xxx would be delete, or F10 etc. Once you set it to boot from CD, you're good to go.
