$600 television. What would you buy?
I have about $600 to spend on a tv. I'm not real sure exactly what I'm looking for. I'd like it to be widescreen and it doesn't need to be very big. I'm not interested in little 15" plasma or anything. Mabye the 25" inch range. From shopping around it looks like I can spend up to $300 or over $1500, not much in the middle ranges though.
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Any suggestions? |
I wouldn't spend 600 bucks on a TV. :) The cheapest I've seen HDTV widescreens is 1000 bucks. So 600 bucks is not going to do HDTV. And 600 bucks is too much for a standard tube TV.. So I'd either look for a good 32" in the 300-400 range, or wait and get a HDTV.

Just did a quick look at BestBuy, you are either going to get a LCD at like 15 inches or you are going to get a 32+ incher with money left over. If you only want to spend 600 check ebay or something or look for refurbed models of HDTVs. But still, spend much less or save up for much more.

Have you checked out Costco yet? they seem to have a pretty good supplies of tele at not a bad price either. Are you limiting yourself to 26" because of room or budget?
|
Both really. I'm moving soon so I will be losing my roomies bigscreen hd sony. My 15 yearold 13' black and white just doesn't seem to be the same anymore.
