Flash Help
Hey I wonder if anyone can help me. I am just learning to use Flash, Macromedia Flash MX 6.0, and I am making a little animated invitation to our Halloween Party.
The problem that I am having is that many of the graphics, especially text symbols are being cut off and are therefore unreadable. Even when I move the text way over to the left, the right edge is cropped. What really has me confused is that the flash "box" is not what is doing the cropping, I can see the movie edge and that's not where the text ends (it's before). Anyway, it's really damn frustrating and as a Flash newbie I would appreciate any insite you experts might have.

Not being familiar with the particular problem you're having, and not having used Flash in years...
Is your text box too small? I seem to remember some feature that would just let the text appear IN the text box. Other programs automatically resize the text box when it gets overfilled, but for Flash, where displaying text in a specific way is important, that might not be the case. I can't really be sure. Or... is it a layering issue? Make sure the text is at the very top layer. It could be going behind some other object that you didn't know was there. Just ideas. |
