Extraction woes...
So I have what appears to be a RAR archive. There are several of them.
Archive 1 looks like this: 1.001 ... 1.051 1.sfv 2 looks like this: 2.001 ... 2.051 2.sfv Both 1 and 2 work fine as RAR archives, extracted with either WinRAR or PicoZip. Archive 3 looks like this: 3.001 ... 3.049 3.sfv Say what? I tried just extracting with WinRAR like before, but when I do so, it asks for a full path to 3.050. Then one to 3.051. Then 3.052. It doesn't seem to end. Archive 4 looks like this: 4.001 ... 4.023 4.sfv This one extracts fine. So what's the deal? Is archive 3 corrupted? Or is there something I don't know about sfv files? As I understood, they were just checksums to make sure everything got downloaded correctly... but I've seen no error message regarding that. Help me out here. |
do you have an sfv checking program?
if not, grab this one, it rocks.. http://www.big-o-software.com/products/hksfv/ sounds like you're missing some pieces of the archive. but hksfv will verify that for you. |
it looks like you have a bad archive dude go redownload or if you checksummed after downloading and it was fine...find another source....

Bloody hell. That's what I thought.
Archive 3 is missing 2 parts (imagine that...). Thanks, guys. |
