Printer Queue hangs
A bit of help would be soooo nice right now. A printer that is installed on Windows Server 2003 prints fine after I installed it, but eventually when a document is printed, it just sits in the queue and doesn't print. When I delete it in the queue and print again, the same happens. After deleting the printer and reinstalling it, it worked fine again until it happened again.
HELP PS Anyone ever heard of an external modem uninstalling itself while the PC is off? |

Just guessing here, but maybe a newer (?) driver for the printer would fix the print queue issue. I'm going to guess that there isn't a native windows 2003 driver and that is causing the weirdness.
As to the external modem, it might be a quirk of windows, or a weird problem with detection (assuming USB based). If it's a serial port modem, then check the cables/bios entries for the serial port. I dunno if any of that helped, but you never know. |
