Yahoo Messenger Voice and Cable modems
I was just wonderin if anyone has figured out a fix for losing voice on a cable modem when using Yahoo messenger. A couple of my friends have the problem I dont cause im on DSL. I know a friend who has a way to fix it in a router situation but he wont give up his secret the bastard :rolleyes:

check udp is open for 5000-5010 for the voice servers

Yep thats always done oryahoo wont work but I know it has something to do with the way cable modems operate as compared to dsl
