Is this a sign of a hacker or nothing serious?

Been getting logged off on my Yahoo messenger and the little box says "you have been logged off because you are signed on to another computer." I was wondering if like I have a hacker, someone who knows my yahoo acct. and gets in or is it my firewall/ puter doing it to me?

Maybe. Just change your password, see if that stops it.

does it happen randomly? or does it happen when you sign on? if it happens right when you sign on im guessing you left yourself signed in on another computer... if its randomly maybe someone does know your password.

Thjanks guys, yeah its random. Kinda scary when you're talking to someone and your messenger shuts down saying you have been logged onto another computer.

You could have logged onto another computer computer and saved your password and they accidentally signed in as you.

I wouldn't be too worried.

Change your password, whatever you do. It never hurts to change passwords every now and then.

I've had this happen when I launch a VPN connection from home to work.
