Sony- How can I buy an extended warranty?
 

In a nutshell, I recently bought a pretty expensive Sony Wega TV through a friend at Circuit City for a big discount. It turns out that the extended CC warranty that I bought had to be put in his name because he bought it so we figured we would transfer it to me in a month or so as if I bought it off of him. He found out that the purchases that employees make aren't supposed to be sold so the warranty can't be transfered. I returned it for the full amount.

Now I've got a $$$ Sony TV that I really want to get warrantied. How can I go about getting one through Sony, *after* I already bought it?

Any recomendations?

Not sure about how to get one from Sony but you can get one from GE:
