Most of us know about this insidious little(or big) file that tracks all your comings and goings online and even in Explorer. Of course it's not an easy file to kill, but I have found an easy way to rid youself of this pest.

just open Notepad and save this as an cmd file in your Start Up folder.

Code:

cd %homedrive%%homepath%
rd /s/q cookies
rd /s/q locals~1\history
rd /s/q locals~1\tempor~1

or just download this file:

http://www.markusjansson.net/exp.cmd

and place it in your Start Up folder. Now index.dat will be wiped clear at every reboot.
