Lite On DVD recorders

Does anyone here know any inside information as to when exactly these Lite On Drives are coming out? Last Fall I heard early summer, but it's here and no drives. Back then the suggested price tag was at $150-200, which is cool.

I'd give it a little more time, Lite-On always makes quality stuff. Besides, its not quite summer yet...

Your best bet would be to keepup on a few websites:

tomshardware.com
anandtech.com

They seem to test a lot of stuff on a regular basis. Hopefully they'll get a review sample just before the unit actually gets released.

I picked up a 400D last Saturday. So far
I've only burned DVD-R in it. Works fine.

Here's where I got it:

$299 at the store. While I was there I had
'em wrap it up inside a new 'puter
