Does anyone know of a good program out there that can capture streaming video off the net? I know about WM Recorder, but I was looking for freeware, and its expensive.

I picked something up a couple months ago from www.download.com, but I have no clue what it was called. I think I did a search for 'Streaming video' and found a few programs that worked well.

try streambox, google for it, if you can't find it pm me, i have a copy somewhere

I think either webzip, ezget, or flashget does it, but you need the actual address of the stream.

This http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm supposedly works pretty well, its only $20 USD and its got a free trial if you need to grab something quick.
