XM or Sirius transmitted to my headphones???

I have to wear ear protection on the job. My truck is always close to me(I am in lawn maintanence) Can I send the signal from the car to my headset if I tune it to a specific station? How far will the modulator send it? Any help is much appreciated.

IF I am correct, and I may not be, the Sirius Mobil docking station transmits via FM band broadcast. My dealer says I have about 20 feet of broadcast range, but then my dealer also said I should retail the boomboxes for 300 bucks. Your best bet to see is to get one of those cheap 10 dollar headphones, use the broadcast frequency and walk away from the truck.
