so i have this file i can't delete..
it's called Smash.v64.exe. it's on my desktop and when i try to delete it, it says it's being used by another person or program. i looked to see if i could find anything that resembled it in the startup menu so i could disable it but found nothing. i restarted and did a ctrl+alt+del to find nothing there either. anyone have any ideas or know of a program that can delete any file? thx

I would say create a file that has almost the exact same name like "smash1.v64.exe" in the same folder, but creating an .exe is kinda tough. What you could do is go out and download a small .exe and rename it in the same folder as that file is in, then delete both.

| Addict Location: Nottingham, England | I have had this sort of thing before and it is bloody annoying. Anyway I have found a free programme which deletes files when you boot up. I have used it and it works fine. Click on this link and I hope it helps: http://www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/index.htm |
