MSN Taking Over Internet Explorer

Hi all. I like to keep IE6 set to use a blank page for a "home" page. But every so often MSN's page takes over. Any ideas? It happened with XP Pro SP1 and SP2. Driving me nuts.

I don't know that there's much you can do except use a different browser... used to happen to me too.

I'll second the use of Firefox. Switched not too long ago and will never go back to IE.

I've used both Firefox and Opera. I went back to Opera, as I prefer its download manager. Firefox is pretty cool too though. Especially the extensions.

Mr Mephisto

PS - I keep a copy of IE on my system, as some pages don't display properly without it. Damn Mickeysoft...

there are programs out there to "lock your homepage". i think startpageguard is one example. however, i recommend you ultimately switch browsers too!
