Web Page Creation class in college...
I'm looking to take a simple class at my community college to get enough units for a full load. My other three classes are very labor intensive, so I'm looking for a class that will only require reading/research/work to be done *inside* of class.
I'm looking at this web page creation class. Will something like this be in-class only, to your best of knowledge? Here's a link: http://schedule.sdccd.net/catdesc.CF...05&TRM=4%20%20 Thanks for any info guys. -T |
I suppose it depends on the teacher. I'd tend to think that some days would be spent learning something, and others (most) would be applying them. That's how my brief Adobe Illustrator/Mac Flash class was.

The description mentions "wizards and templates", while not mentioning CSS, javascript, DHTML or XHTML, cross browser compatibility, or even Photoshop or Dreamweaver.
Looks like a very basic overview of web fundamentals. I'd say you're probably safe. I can't see this being an intensive class from the description. |
Yeah, that looks crazy simple. Im sure there will be some out of class "make a webpage" projects, but they look to be stupid simple stuff. Nothing to worry about, especially if you have any leaning towards computer skills and can pick up basic HTML without much trouble.

Great, thanks guys. The only thing that was worrying me was that there's over 30 seats left, and these classes usually have about 35 (meaning that the teacher might be unpopular...?)
Thanks again -T |
