i usualy use VideoDub to get screen caps, but it does not open .OGM files, does anyone know a program that i can get screen caps with.

I have no .ogm video's on my end, and googling is not finding the answer, so I don't know if powerdvd will play that file type. powerdvd is what I typically use to take screen caps.

if you're playing it in WMP, the only suggestion I have is to turn down your hardware acceleration, and use either snagit, or printscreen to copy it to the clipboard. if you don't disable hardware acceleration, you'll get a beautiful screenshot of a black box.

If you just want a picture you can press the PrtScrn/SysRq button and then open a program like word, or photoshop, or whatever then right click in the open area and click paste.

try this...
right click on your desktop
go to settings tab>Advanced Button>Troubleshoot
Hardware Acceleration to NONE.

then do Printscreen, and the video should appear and not black.
