I'm going slightly mad!!!
Everytime i try to access my music,documents or pictures a message appears on screen telling me there is an error and i have to send a report to Microsoft.
Any ideas what to do before i go into the garage for a big hammer! |

Usually when that happens, there is an option to see more details. Post that, if you would. We are going to need to know more--that is a generic error message that happens any time something bad happens. Without knowing more, we cant help

I'm wildly guessing this is due to spyware. Try the programs suggested in this thread.
Also, run Windows Update and get the latest patches. |

Can you "Click here" and post that please? Also, what exactly are you doing? Are you trying to just call up listings of your files, or does it only appear when ou try to load a word file or run an mp3 etc?
Have you changed anything recently? Have you installed any new programs about the time it broke?
