my technicians handed me my labtop yesterday and it wouldn't play DVD, refer to my thread yesterday

turns out they didn't installed the DVD software that is specific for dell labtops, everything works now but these lazy techie are just freaking piece of shits, die motherfucker techies, stupid shit

I loaded my deaktop dvd software and evidently it was no go,

now everything works fine

although the laptop you got may have been new, the techies probably wiped the hard drive and put their own standard image on there...prob being a work lappy they may have decided u didn't have any real reason to watch dvds...just a possibilty...bit stupid of them still

As a techie myself I could not give a shit less whether you can watch DVDs or not, unless it is part of your job.

If I came to work on your laptop and saw you had unauthorized software on it, I would wipe it off. Remember the company owns the equipment, not you.

Perhaps coming to a specific section of the site that's mainly frequented by "techies" and bashing said people isn't such a bright idea. If you're this rude to your tech support, I would be willing to bet that not having DVD software is the least of your problems with that laptop.
