Interesting review - iPod vs Cassette
|
Entertaining. Worth a look. I especially like the hackish drawings of the cassette tape on the "3 for .99" slide.
|
I got a kick out of that.
|
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
seriously, homepage.mac.com? So many mac bashing things on that site... |
Kinda funny, all that stuff.
Although being semi serious, something like a Nakamichi Dragon, CR7 or even a well setup Sony WM-D6C would probably whup the pants of an iPod in a proper high-end audio setup. |
Very cool and true indeed.
|
I enjoyed it.
|
That was funny! Love cassettes, but time for something new.
|
Funny stuff...
I always liked the pencil "EZ Repair" feature of cassettes. |
He's got some other funny pages on that site too. I enjoyed the "Guaranteed Late Fee" one as well :D

I've actually gotten back into cassettes, the key is to have DolbyHX Pro, sounds so much better then a generic tape player. Practically CD quality!
|
Since I have been living in Japan, I have been getting into MD's. Really popular here and the MD's are about a buck a piece. The players and recorders all have MDLP capability which mean I can record up to 5 hours of music. Nice. Just bought a Pioneer MD player for my car with a 10 pack CD player in the back...sweet.
But I still have about 300 90 min. cassettes recorded from the 80's. Ah....the good old days. I'll never get rid of them...too much good music on them. |
That is a good one, they didn't mention sound quality however.
I have never heard of DoblyHXPro, but I am pretty sure my old Sony Sports Walkman doesn't have it! |
To be honest, I wasn't really entertained by this. Don't mean to bumb anyone out.
