5.1 Speaker Question
OK, I just bought a new system and picked up the 5.1 surround sound speakers. I had everything configured correctly and the sound quality was excellent. Now, however, everytime I start up the system, Windows (XP) starts the system with the speakers configured as Desktop Stereo Speakers so that my rear speakers aren't working. I can go in control panel and switch it back to 5.1 and things run fine. What am I missing that this setting can't be saved?

Yep, I even went into the control settings and tried to override the speaker setting. It would work while my machine was running, but if I rebooted, back to desktop speakers. I am completely stumped by this one.
