sure there is...just go back to Win95/98...it was included on the install CD and the interface was through the "Exchange" (renamed "Windows Messaging" for 98) e-mail program.
It's possible...meaning, I've never tried, nor heard of anyone else trying this...that you could take a 98 CD, pop it into a newer machine, load the fax service package, and use it through Outlook Distress or whatever. |

Yes, there are a few out there.
I've tried and used a program called Fax Machine and it works very well. Small program and does the job. Can't remember if it is free or not. You can always go to www.downloads.com and search for a faxing program. |

I've never found good free fax software. I've always found adequate to good shareware stuff. If you're still interested I've used JustTheFax and Fax2000. Both aren't crippled and work for 30 days.
