Using Home Wiring for HDTV Antenna?

Can home wiring be used as an antenna for HDTV's and if so, how?

Be more specific on what exactly you are trying to do. Can the wire itself be used as an antenna? Unless you live under the tower, no. When you say home wiring, do you mean, electrical wiring? Probably not that either. Use RG-6 coax to make the run.

I've heard of products using electrical wiring in the home to get TV signals. I just wonder if one can do this for HDTV signals.

Thanks

This technology is still being worked out, soon I do feel that this will be a reality. Although Belo / Media Fusion is testing HDTV over an electrical network as we speak.

I really had no idea that HDTV could be broadcast over the air...
