Anyone here at HOPE this weekend?? (NYC 7/9 - 7/11) - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

That is, are any TFPers attending the Fifth HOPE conference, which is at the New York Hotel Pennsylvania (the Penta) for three days this weekend??

Over 70 talks covering topics covering subjects like computer security, networking, innovation, the hacker ethic, and the freedom of sharing information are being held by speakers such as Kevin Mitnick, Steve Wozniak, John Draper (Cap'n Crunch), Bruce Schneier and Jello Biafra among noted others.

If you're in NYC and are interested in these topics, consider checking it out -- the cost of admission (the 50 bucks that might very well change your life...) will be some of the best money you've ever spent!

If you're attending the conference, which presentations do you think are a must-see? I know which ones are gonna be great but am looking for suggestions too...

Also PM me if you are at HOPE and let's have some beers or something! Remember last call in NYC is at 2:30!

lol, I remember a conference they had a while ago where all the hackers got together to talk, and as nametags, they all put their hacker names on their nametags. Apparently a few undercover cops went in and nabbed about 90 of them, since hackers usually 'tag' their victim sites. lol
