Convert USB to PS/2... no seriously!
This may have already answered itself. But is there an adapter which can convert a USB connection into a ps/2 one?
I realize that USB needs and utilizes different hardware and... technology, period! But, just this once, I'm hoping we [technology] went outside the box. In case your wondering: I have a USB hub inside my computer though attempts to use a USB keyboard on it have been unsuccessful. I know so, when I tested the keyboard at a friend's house. So I guess my USB hub is busted even though it registers on the System Device manager list? Go figure. |
There is - a lot of first generation USB mice came with them. Ask around with your computer-owning friends. I bet they have 3 or 4 sitting around collecting dust. Otherwise, pick the 2nd one down on this page:

Yeah, I have a couple.
Stop on by and Ill hook you up with one. :) |
yeah i have one...but i use it...i don't feel like taking up my valuable USB slots with my trackball. Then again maybe i'm just a cheapass who doesn't want to shell out the 4.99 for a hub off pricewatch

But it says it's only for mice. Can it still be used for the keyboard seeing as how they both use a PS/2 connection? Quote:
