I'm looking for a free, or nearly free, graphics program, something like PhotoImpact. Any suggestions?

IRFANVIEW is only for optimization though, isnt it? i have realy explored the program but thats what i use it for...batch pic optomizing

I'd also say gimp for serious editing...minor editing, conversions, and viewing I feel Irfanview cannot be beat for free. Irfan is a lot more powerful than many think, but admittedly it doesn't have the range Gimp does.
