codecs.... I know
I get the usual sound no video.
I tried to seach on here for codecs, but It seems like some say use nimo, others say nimo will screw you over. divx looks good, but is this just full of spyware? so.... what is a good codec I can use that isnt full of spyware? |
Install the free divx then run adaware, it'll take care of it for you.

i don't know what codec your program is, but the best way to solve all your problems is to use the K-Lite codec pack. includes all the major codecs, as well as Windows Media Player Classic (by far the BEST media player avail).
plays quicktime, real, even dvds. tiny ass proggie too. click ---> here! hope that helps |

I agree with the don't! use nimo. just divx won't work, i fon't think, because it doesn't do xvid afaik, and lots of avi's nowadays are xvid. I always just use what comes with gordian knot...and have never had an unplayable movie...but i've heard enough positive recommends of k-lite...so I recommend that to others :) |
