best motherboard for Xp 3000 or 3200 cpu?

Im getting ready to do another upgrade on my system, and I have decided to go with either the Xp 3000+ or 3200+ cpus. I was curious to see what your guys' opinions are on what is the best motherboard for that chip. I looked for a MB roundup review, but the newest one I could find was from August 2003, and I also found dozens of other websites suggesting other boards. I have heard good things about the nforce 2 chipset, and I would like to have Sata capability for the future. I don't need on board audio, but I would like at least 4 USB 2.0 ports on the back panel, as well as firewire if possible. Any suggestions you could give me would be much appreciated.

Abit NF7-S Revision 2.0.

Buy it and you'll want to give me a blowjob. Or at least thank me for advice on the best Athlon XP motherboard on the market.

Urrgh... Bad imagery. But he is right. For the buck, the Abit-NF7-S rev. 2 is the best mobo for Athlon XP on the market. The onboard sound is fuckin' awesome, and the Nforce2 chipset is quite nice. For $82.00 on newegg, you can't get much better!

I have the Abit IC7-Max 3 for Intel chips.. Great, solid mobo. However, check the northbridge fan. It is useless, and worth replacing with a good heatsink before you even install it. If it is blue and round, replace it. TRUST ME>

Get the Abit NF7-S v.2, rip off the northbridge fan as burner said, and replace it with a giant heatsink or something. good to go!

The extra $40 is for the onboard Soundstorm Audio and the extreme performance OC'ing you're able to do with the NF7-S. I think it's easily worth the extra money.

I have the A7N8X Deluxe V2.0 and I like it a lot. Two coworkers bought the same board and none of us have had any problems.
