Recomended DVD burning software.
I'm looking for a program that lets me throw any type of media (or most video types) and burn then on to a dvd ( i dont need menues, but chapters would be nice) so i can watch random things i download on my tv.
I know something is out there, does anyone know any programs (freeware, shareware, or purchable programs) that allow me to take episodes of southpark or something and burn them to dvd. Thanks. |
xCopy and Ulead make some good DVD software.

This looks like a good guide - http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/tmpg-dvdauthor.htm
You can find more guide at www.videohelp.com under the how to author section. |
Thanks, I think this site will help me very much, thanks again.

DVD Shrink w/ Nero. It is by far, the best thing I have used for DVD Movies. DVD Shrink is free and here is the link: http://www.dvdshrink.info/downloads.php

Another vote for Nero :)

I didn't think DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink can make dvds from video files you have lying around on your computer, just copy dvds and recompile parts extracted from dvds.

My LG DVD-RW/RAM came with "B's DVD". I use it because my old version of Nero won't recognize this drive. I'm not really pleased with its rather un-intuitive design. However, it can start with most MPG/AVI files and produce full-screen video out of them.
I just wish it didn't take so long to author a DVD...maybe this is also the fault of the software. |
I've no experiance of it but a mate is using Nero to burn DVD's from VHS - his VHS collection got huge so he's shrinking it a little! He's finding it very easy, apparently.

Second vote for DVD shrink + Nero works like a charm
