I built my friend's PC with the XP2100+ and it's solid around 50°C with plenty of case airflow. Both his and my system temps stay right around 35°C.

Yo! My XP1600+ is kicking 51C and the system temp is 38C.
That's pretty much how she goes. How did you do a degree sign?

60C is what you want to stay below. I'm running 32C case and 52C proc under load from SETI. Thats on a 1.33 Tbird oc'd to 1.4.

I have a 2800 Barton cooled by an Arkua hsf that runs around 52c while playing Quake. Normally it hangs around 48-50. AMD says 85c is max. They have a whole explanation here.

I've got a TBred 2400+ bumped to 2.13 GHz (core) and my max load temps run around 40°C(sys and proc). I'm running a TT Volcano 9 for the proc, with 2 PS fans, 2 80mm exhaust fans, and 2 intake fans (1-80mm 1-92mm).
