a list of what was fixed is over on wingimp.org (late edit: this shows all of the bug fixes but no sane person IMO should pay anything - especially their price - for any build)

and a much better free source to DL the win32 build rather than paying the outrageous amount on the above site - link to Jernej Simoncic's page

What's changed in this wingimp that they feel the need to charge $80 for?

um, I don't know. In fact, I'm outraged. Not sure why you used the wingimp link though - the official gimp for windows site only mentions it as an aside, basically a last resort: http://gimp.org/windows/

you should never pay for any release of the GIMP, hence the second and much better source for the precompiled exe. I posted the wingimp link rather than copy and past all of the fixes and that was the best source so far I have seen that lists them.

Oh don't worry, I was only just curious as to why they would feel a charge of $80 would warrent their build of the gimp. Hardcore Linux user here...
