Why does my diskman keep breaking? It won't read cd's anymore and it's not even four months old... I get a new one a couple times a year because they don't last!

Any Ideas why it won't read my disks?

Have you tried a CD lense cleaner to see if the lense is dirty?

What brand of discman do you have? Sony?

if you're going through 2-3 a year, then maybe the problem isn't the equipment, but instead the user. despite claims otherwise, this is still sensitive electronic equipment and will only take so much abuse before it fails.
