Discovery: Trouble with IE
Ok, Some of you guys were trying to help me figure out why my IE is opening very slow. And despite all your great help I still could not find the issue. Well get this....
Some of my Bios settings got screwed up...so I reset them and they return to defult. So this resets my clock. I then boot up windows...and IE works fine!!!....so I go about my buisness, then i notice my clock is wrong. I reset my clock to the current date, and guess what........Now when I open IE, same old slow that it used to be. Any ideas? |
That's really odd. I personally wouldnt put up with it, and would reboot. But I have all of my stuff backed up on 2 dvd-r's, and it only takes me about 30-45min to go from format to back to normal. I'd say try and set your homepage to about:blank and keep your favorites open with your fav sites.

I just did a test to make sure that it worked before I set the clock again. I set my clock back to 2002. BOOM....works perfect.......fucking IE.....Firefox here I come.
|
Yeah, Firefox is a great solution to the IE problem.
Of course, even IE working perfectly still means that IE is/has a problem in my opinion. |
