Best way to schedule bit torrent downloads?
So here's the situation. I live with 2 other college students and we share a cable connection. At night no one is using the bandwidth so I like to download off bit torrent. However my housemates get up very early in the morning and do not appreciate the sluggish internet due to the BT uploading/downloading.
I have downloaded a simple program that will turn off my computer (and therefore stop BT) at a specified time, but I would rather not have to shut down my entire system. If anyone knows of any programs that simply stop bit-torrent at a specified time that would be great. |
Ditto. I am in the exact same position you are Chris. I stay up really late and use that time to download but that means I usually sleep well into the afternoon and my roommates don't really appreciate me trying to download the entire Frank Sintra catalog. I would be very interested in a program like Chris described as well. Thanks
