target words
Does anyone know what "targetwords" is. I'm thinking that it's some kind of spyware.
Anyway, it highlights certain words on websites and you can click them and it takes you to a search page with that specific word. Is there anyway I can get rid of this? I tried running Spybot Search And Destroy but it did nothing.

From their website:
Quote:
If it is just a few websites then it is an ad program that the web admins have set up. Now if it happens to all your websites, then perhaps you could post what domain it takes you to when you click them. Or where you found "target words" on your computer. Any other info may help.

I don't think it's your machine, I think it's the web site your going to that does that. try a site like fark.com, see if you get tham.
I believe what your talking about appears on the experts-exchange.com website, that's one I KNOW has that stuf...very annoying, which is why I don't go there anymore.
