The only thing bad about those cases is the fact that they take FOREVER to take apart and put back together. Taking out a hard drive can take 30 minutes, and putting in a video card can take well over an hour. The case isn't ATX -- it's simply 6 pieces of acrylic plastic held together with screws. Looks cool, but is a pain in the ass. My brother bought this case and used it for about 4 months before he switched back to another case. He couldn't take how long it took to take out parts.

sigh.....desktop envy.
Laptops, portable, but just not very moddable.
(at least mine has a glowing display panel on the front. It's useless unless you use it for a cd player, which I don't, but still...it's blue...)
Beautiful case. kudos!

Funny you say that, my name's Bender.

Specs (that I know of)

NVIDEA Ge Force (exact model not known) 256MB video card
AMD athlon XP 2400+
220 Gig HD space
PNY PC 2700 512 MB RAM
CD Burning ROM 52x + standard CD ROM
Windows XP and Office XP

I Posted pics because I bought it off of a friend of mine. Funny thing is, I helped him build it, and I don't even know all the specifics, so the computer guys are helping me out with pricing info .

He's only had it a month, and is now selling it to me for a good (I think) price because he needs the $$$$.

I saw it after one month, and yes you could see dust starting to accumulate :ugh: . PITA to clean, but still up there on the coolness factor.

If you want to know what the video card is just take a picture of it from the side with the fan. I'm pretty sure someone here can id it just by a picture.

I was about to suggest getting some rounded IDE/floppy cables for the same reason. They also help with air flow and keep things cooler. There are some pretty nice looking ones available that have glowing wire in them for a very cool effect.... especially if the HD LED is used to control the wire light.

5 80mm fans would make me go nuts! i imagine that thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner. i had 3 in my old case and i know it did. thank jebus for 120mm fans! but your case being acrylic i imagine it wouldnt be hard to mod for 120mm fans. but awesome looking setup anyways!

Yeah, I was thinking that when dust starts accumulating it won't be that pretty. But then again, you mentioned that your friend has had it for a while? Unless he vacuumed it or something that thing looks pretty clean.

I thought the same thing too.....round cables in a normal case that size are not needed...but when you have that much that can be seen...they kinda are needed.

guys the dust isn't that bad. I had the same case going for about 4 months (until I couldn't take the "taking the entire case apart to add a device" shit anymore) and the dust was fine. Sure, it gets dust, but it's not a total abomination like you guys are making it out to be. besides, they make things for dust. it's called Cans of Air. works perfectly.

Nice case, same exact one I have actually. I also have all blue LED fans on mine. I bound all my cords though so its a bit cleaner in there. I also have a Thermaltake Volcano 9+ Heatsink and Fan which has red and blue LED lights on it. But basically identical to what you have there. On a side note, I have no idea what Lasereth is talking about for it taking an hour to put a video card in. I've swapped mine out repeatedly in less than a minute each time.

Hard-drives and anything that is placed up front does take a longer time though because you have to remove both sides of the case to put it in, and the motherboard is mounted to the side, so you have to remove all PCI/AGP cards you have installed in order to remove the one side. That's a pain in the ass, but the only pain in the ass. Cleaning this case is also very easy (for me at least) since I own an air compressor with the appropriate attachment so I just pop off the one side of the case and start blowing 180psi of air in there. Cleans it all out in a jiffy and its back to being squeaky clean.
