Right Click Madness
Hey guys. I'm sure you've noticed that when you right click a file of any type (if you're on windows), you are greeted with a list of possible tasks. Tasks like.. Enqueue in Winamp, Add to Zip, Send to -> Desktop as Shortcut.
I use those things all the time. Love 'em. However, I've noticed that about fifty thousand or so minute applications are under the impression that I use them all the time and would like nothing better than an array of 4-5 tasks that it can perform. Normally I can overlook this... but when I right click an mp3 I'm now bombarded with about 30 choices. Anyway, there's gotta be a way to edit this list to get rid of all the shit I never use that gets in my way. With the registry or otherwise. Any ideas? |

Was on www.bbspot.com today, I think it's what you're after. |
Thanks!
That helped, but what about the Send To menu? That's where most of the clutter is. Everyone seems to think I can't go to file->open in their program. |

To add custom destinations to your Send To folder, you need to actually go to the folder you want to be available in the Send To menu, create a shortcut of it, and send the shortcut to your Send To folder. Then rename the folder so it doesn't say "shortcut to.....etc" |
Just to note, the Send To folder is a hidden folder so you will have to go into you're folder options and show hidden items. Here's how:
Open any folder Click on Tools>Folder Options Select the View tab Under the Hidden Files and Folders list, click the radio button that says Show Hidden Files and Folders. That's it. Good luck |
